Extend Movies, Series, Anime and TV with extra catalogs and sources
Stremio addons (also Nuvio-compatible) are connectors that add catalogs and video sources to FreeMedia. Install one and its content shows up in the Premium tab of the matching section. You choose which addons to use; FreeMedia only displays them.
They add extra catalogs (posters, synopses, ratings) and playback sources.
Their content appears in the Premium tab of Movies, Series, Anime and TV.
We only recommend legal addons: public domain, Creative Commons or official ones. Torrent-based addons are blocked.

Recommended addons — free & legal content
Catalog addons enrich posters and listings but don't play on their own: to watch video you also need a Streams (sources) addon. Paste its URL above. For legal reasons we don't include torrent or piracy stream addons.
Official Stremio metadata: posters, synopses and IMDb ratings for movies and series. Enriches catalogs; doesn't play on its own.
https://v3-cinemeta.strem.ioAnime catalog from Kitsu.io with full metadata. Complements the Anime section. Enriches catalogs; doesn't play on its own.
https://anime-kitsu.strem.fun3 million subtitles in 60+ languages. Official OpenSubtitles addon for any content.
https://opensubtitles-v3.strem.ioA small connector that exposes a catalog and/or video sources through a manifest. FreeMedia reads it and shows its content inside the app — nothing is installed on your device.
Pick one of the recommended addons and hit Install, or paste the addon's base URL (the part before /manifest.json) in the field above.
You probably installed a Catalog addon (like Cinemeta), which only adds posters and details. To play video you also need a Streams (sources) addon. For legal reasons we don't include torrent or piracy stream addons, so you'll usually add your own source by pasting its URL. Remember: the "Play" tab already gives you free, legal content with no addons needed.
It depends on the addon. FreeMedia only recommends addons serving free, public-domain or Creative Commons content, and blocks torrent-based ones. You are responsible for the addons you install.
In the Premium tab of each section (Movies, Series, Anime, TV). You need FreeMedia Premium active for that tab to show the content.
